“Desire is hunger, is the fire I breathe
Love is a banquet on which we feed”

-Patti Smith, Because the Night

Fangs Gallery is a one-shot LARP loosely inspired by the iconic Factory that dares to ask the important question, "What if Andy Warhol was a vampire?"

For one night only, we’re transforming a Northern Indiana church into a blood-drenched 1980s art gallery.

This rules-lite game is set in the World of Darkness and written for 36 pre-cast characters. We use a Nordic-inspired system that encourages immersion and emotional storytelling.

New LARPers welcome!

Themes & Tone

Fangs Gallery is a game about outsiders building their own place in society, and those who (literally and metaphorically) feed off their success and burgeoning community. It was inspired by Andy Warhol's Factory, a gathering place that brought together distinguished intellectuals, drag queens, playwrights, Bohemian street people, Hollywood celebrities, and wealthy patrons.

The player characters are a collective of dramatic artists, and their relationships are messy. Powers and vampire politics take a backseat.

Power Level

Roughly one third of characters are mortal, one third are ghouls or thin-bloods, and one third are full-blooded vampires. The oldest vampire in play is about 120, and most are much younger.

Every character—whether vampire, ghoul, or mortal—has relationships that matter to them and goals they are pursuing. There are no throwaway characters, and being cast as a low-powered character doesn't mean you'll have less to do in game.

Your Character

Pre-assigned characters: On December 15, you’ll receive a link for the character survey. The GMs will use your survey results to match you to a character.

Each prewritten character comes with a complete backstory and built-in connections to other players. Your plots are intertwined, setting you up for surprising alliances, bitter rivalries, and difficult choices. Experienced NPCs help support your story, making sure there’s always opportunities for drama and intrigue.

Character sheets: You’ll receive a character sheet with your characters backstory, goals, and connections. It will also list any powers and advantages that your character has.

Most character sheets are 6-10 pages, and you will receive your sheet well ahead of the game.

This game is super gay

Like Warhol's Factory, Fangs Gallery is a haven for queer and trans artists and performers. Most characters can be played as any gender, and queer relationships are built into the setting.

Players should be comfortable being in a space where queer relationships and identities are centered.

Mature content

Fangs Gallery is for players 18+.

Fangs Gallery is a vampire game, and vampires really suck. Their relationships are inherently unbalanced and parasitic.

This game has a massive content warning for coercive relationships, many of which are supernaturally reinforced by Disciplines or the Blood Bond. You can opt out of some of this, such as being subject to the blood bond, but you should be aware that real shitty power imbalances permeate this game.
